15hr Yoga Teacher Training

with Tara South

20 - 21 March

Learn the art of teaching Yin Yoga and its many forms with Tara in this 15hr YTT module.

 

Discover how to theme and sequence different Yin sessions to teach students to turn inwards and find the depth of stillness.

 

You will learn how to interweave the yin philosophies into your teachings, and create a depth of understanding for your students on their yin journey.

 

Explore yin based breathing and meditation techniques to enhance your personal yin practice and teachings.

What to expect:

  • Group practice and discussions.

  • Voice cultivation practices.

  • Teacher led asana, peer led sessions & small group exercises.

  • Practical and written exercises throughout the course.

  • Creating new and fun ideas to develop and expand your current teaching repertoire.

Prerequisites:

  • 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification with any organization.

  • Suitable for teachers with less than 5 years teaching experience, or

  • Advanced practitioners (minimum of 5 years regular, on-the-mat practice)

  • You, Your Yoga Mat, Journal and Pen

This advanced training will provide you with 15 hours accredited through Yoga Alliance.

About Tara:

Tara South has been practicing yoga for the last 20 years and teaching globally for the last 10. Tara has completed yoga qualifications in Ashtanga, Prana Flow, Vinyasa, Power, Rocket, Restorative, Hot Power, Tripsicore, Prenatal, and Yin Yoga styles. She has completed studies in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and is an accredited Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) through the Trauma Centre in Brookline, Massachusetts.

In 2011 Tara founded Mandala Yoga Meditation Retreats, Mandala YMR started out as a Yoga Shala in her hometown in Australia, and after 3 years Tara decided to create an International community for Mandala YMR to evolve and expand, in an effort to create an inclusive community, in a space that had become exclusive.

She shares her knowledge, love and devotion of yoga by running yoga teacher training, retreats, workshops & master classes around the world!

Tara delivers her sessions with lightness and a sense of humour as students are enabled to develop their practices not only in the physical asana, but also towards the more subtle aspects of the self. Her teachings remain humble and accessible for all to enjoy. As well as teaching all levels of Yoga, Tara is proof that living healthily means living happily – even a little crazily!

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be requested in writing to hello@theomspace.com.au . Cancellations requested prior to 7days outside of the event are entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations requested within 7days of the event forfeit all ticket costs, but may transfer their ticket to another name.
