250-HOUR VINYASA & YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
IN NEWCASTLE, NSW
More Than a Yoga Teacher Training
This 250-hour Vinyasa & Yin Yoga Teacher Training is a deeply immersive journey into the art of teaching, embodied yoga, philosophy, nervous system awareness, and authentic self-expression.
โ
Blending dynamic Vinyasa with 50 hours dedicated to the depth, stillness, and introspective practices of Yin Yoga, this training is designed to support both aspiring and existing teachers in developing confidence, wisdom, discernment, and their own authentic teaching voice.
โ
More than simply learning how to sequence a class, this training explores yoga as a pathway for transformation — weaving together anatomy, assists, philosophy, meditation, energetics, trauma-awareness, embodied facilitation, and the subtle art of holding space.โ
Study Yoga Beyond the Physical Practice
โRooted in both ancient wisdom and modern understanding, students will be invited into the study and lived experience of multiple streams of practice and philosophy.
Together we will explore the foundations of Classical Yoga through Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Eight Limbs of Yoga - not as abstract concepts, but as practical tools for living, teaching, relating, and understanding the human experience.
Alongside this, students will study teachings inspired by the Hatha Yoga tradition, drawing from texts such as the Hatha Yoga Pradipika to explore the relationship between body, breath, energy, discipline, and awareness as pathways toward transformation.
Students will also explore themes of embodiment, presence, subtle energetics, ritual, self-inquiry, and the understanding that yoga extends far beyond physical postures - offering practices that invite deeper connection to self and lived experience.
Within the Yin Yoga component, students will be introduced to the foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the principles that have influenced modern Yin Yoga practice - including the meridian system, the relationship between organ networks and emotional experience, seasonal awareness, and the practice of balancing effort with surrender.
Our Vinyasa methodology reflects this integration - honouring intelligent movement, breath-led practice, nervous system awareness, energetic principles, and the understanding that yoga is both an ancient tradition and a living, evolving practice.

WHY TRAIN WITH THE OPEN MIND SPACE?
Our Approach to Yoga Teacher Training

A Practical, Experiential Training
This is not a training where you simply sit and absorb information.
You’ll move.
You’ll teach. You’ll receive feedback.
You’ll practise assists.
You’ll explore philosophy.
You’ll learn to hold space.
You’ll deepen your understanding of the body, the nervous system, energy, and what it means to embody yoga both on and off the mat.

What Makes This Yoga Teacher Training Different?
Expect a highly experiential and practical training - one that values curiosity over perfection, embodiment over performance, and connection over competition.
Throughout the journey, you’ll be supported by experienced facilitators, immersed in community, and encouraged to discover your own voice rather than becoming a copy of someone else’s.
Is This Training Right For You?
Whether your intention is to teach, deepen your own practice, or explore yoga as a path of personal growth - this training is an invitation to step more fully into yourself.
This isn’t just about becoming a yoga teacher.
It’s about becoming more you.
