A Practice of Devotion, Renewal & Inner Fire.
Twice a year, as the Earth moves through the Equinox, we arrive at a rare moment of balance — day and night standing in equal measure. In yogic traditions, these seasonal thresholds are considered powerful portals for reflection, renewal, and intention-setting.
To honour this transition into Spring, we gather outdoors beneath the rising sun to move through 108 Sun Salutations — a moving meditation, a devotional practice and a powerful energetic reset.
The number 108 is considered sacred across many spiritual traditions. It appears throughout yoga, meditation and astronomy, symbolising wholeness, completion and our connection to the greater cosmos.
Practising 108 Sun Salutations becomes an opportunity to release what no longer serves, cultivate resilience, sharpen focus and welcome the season ahead with clarity and purpose.
As we move together, breath by breath, round by round, we build heat, awaken prana (life-force energy), strengthen the body and quiet the mind. It is less about perfection and more about presence. A chance to meet yourself exactly where you are.
This practice is open to all levels. You are welcome to move at your own pace, modify as needed, rest whenever required and rejoin when ready. There is no expectation to complete every round. The invitation is simply to show up, breathe, move and be part of the collective energy of the morning.
Join us beneath the morning sun at Merewether Beach for this beautiful community ritual as we welcome the return of longer days, fresh beginnings and the vibrant energy of Spring.
Come invoke the power of the prana-giving sun. Come welcome the new season.

You are welcome to move at your own pace, and rest whenever you need to. The magic is in showing up, moving with intention, and sharing the journey together.
